The ticket (not the same design from what I have)

He is one who sacrificed his life for us. The author of the book that we read, the Noli Me Tangere and El Filibusterismo. By his doings here in our country, the Filipinos never forget about him. Our Philippine National Hero, Jose Protacio Rizal Mercado y Alonso Realonda or also known as Jose Rizal. Jose Rizal was born on June 19, 1861. His parents are Francisco Mercado and Teodora Alonso. He is the seventh child among his siblings named Saturina (1850–1913), Paciano (1851–1930), Narcisa (1852–1939), Olympia (1855-1887), Lucia (1857–1919), María (1859–1945), Concepción (1862–1865), Josefa (1865–1945), Trinidad (1868–1951) and Soledad (1870–1929). He studied at Ateneo Municipal de Manila, University of Santo Tomas and Universidad Central de Madrid with different courses. But in the end... he sacrificed his life, died on Deecmber 30, 1896 at Bagumbayan (Rizal Park now) and became our hero.

As a tribute for him, the whole campus of Don Antonio de Zuzuarregui Sr. Memorial Academy (DAZSMA) visited Assumpta Theater here in Antipolo City to watch the play "Batang Rizal." We waited for almost an hour before we entered the theater. Beside our section III - St. John the Evangelist, is the section of IV-St. John the Baptist doing random things like what we are doing to entertained ourselves. And finally, we entered the theater! It's so beautiful and cold inside, and we are on the second floor of the theater that's why we can't clearly saw the actors and actresses who participated the play. There are many things happened inside. Some parts of the play are funny, sad, historical, amazing and the others are boring... The story "Batang Rizal" is about Pepito, a young boy from the future opens a magical book that becomes a magical portal to the past and future. In his journey, he comes face-to-face with another young lad, Pepe aka Jose Rizal and finds himself exploring colonial Calamba. He takes Pepe to the future and they journey into an exciting series of events that reveal the truth about heroes, love and friendship.

I learned many things while watching that play. I learned what the true meaning of the word "hero" is. You can be a hero also by doing good little things for the others. How to value "friendship". In the play there are three students who are always bullying Pepito but in the end those three make up with Pepito and helped with his problem. And many more.

Thus, our hero have those values. Even though he still alive until now or he is already dead, the only thing he wanted from us is to be proud that we are all Filipinos who lived in this country Philippines. He also wanted us to know the true meaning of "hero". Whether you are using a dangerous weapon or not, but you are saving someone/something... you are still a HERO.

It's hard to do but you need some patience and creativity. Maybe, among of us reads a Manga, and you see cool drawings of the characters there. Yeah, I'm talking about on how to draw a Manga Character. First of all, What is a Manga? A Manga is a comic drawn in Japanese style of art. It is very popular nowadays. Next How to draw a Manga Character? Well, as I said earlier it's bit hard to do. By the way, these are the steps to follow:

First, Prepare you materials. This is the most important. You must have them. Sharpen your pencil. You have to sharpen your pencil for better results. Prepare an illustration board or bond paper where you will draw. Get an eraser. You must have this for you to erase your mistakes. Marker or something that has a permanent ink. You will use this when you finished drawing using the pencil. If you choose to use the computer it is fine. For me, I have some difficulties in my hand when I use mouse for drawing.

Second, start with the face shape/ The first step in drawing the Manga Character. Using the pencil, draw an oval shape or a circle. It depends on the face shape of the character. Draw a vertical line down the center. Then, a horizontal line also at the center. The two lines you have draw looks like a cross. Divide the space below, then divide also the space you divided earlier. This will make a two horizontal lines below the center horizontal line, it's for the mouth and the chin.

Third step, the eyes. These are the most important feature of Anime and Manga Characters. On the center horizontal line between the vertical line, draw a line that curves upward. One from the left and one from the right and make it thicker. Lightly draw a diagonal lines pointing down starting at the edges from the top. This can make help to get easier in drawing the lower part of the eye. Draw the lower part of the eye with a thicker part at the corner. Then, you may copy the eye details of the character you are drawing.

Fourth step, the ears, nose and the mouth. The nose is the center part of the face. So, draw the shape of the nose of the character you wanted down the center line (because, their noses are different). Back to the top horizontal lines outside the face, draw the ears on the both sides. On the lowest line, draw the mouth. You can just simply draw a curve line downward. It always depends on his/her expression.

Fifth step, the hair. This is the hardest thing to draw. Draw the eyebrows of the character. Next draw his/her bangs. It always depends on the character you are drawing. Then, the hair itself. If the hair is straight, obviously you will draw a straight line. And if it is curly, draw a wavy line.

Last step, the finishing touches. Of course, you have to draw the neck. You can also add the type of clothing he/she wears. Then, you are going to use your marking pen now, for the lines and details you will need. Then, the eraser for erasing the excessive lines you drew earlier. You can add color. If you wanted to.

After all, finishing your work is the happiest part here. As I said earlier, you have to be patient, creative and passionate about it.

The Characters in Detective Conan

As the time goes by, the people throughout the world are very interested in many things or whatever they wanted. They spent their time for this or maybe their money. Also me, I also spent my time for watching or reading this. and I was talking about Anime or Manga (but I prefer reading it only sometimes and watch it more because, I'm tire of reading). I also bought some kind of collectibles about it. Well, this is my favorite Anime.

Gosho Aoyama
My favorite Anime is not just an ordinary anime like the others. This anime is very fun watching and very exciting. I am talking about the anime directed by Kenji Kodama and Yasuichiro Yamamoto since January 19, 1994 and the original story written and art by Gosho Aoyama, Meitantei Conan or also known as Detective Conan. The story is about a high school detective named Shinichi Kudo who has been shrunk by a strange poison given by the strange men in black that made him into a  7 years old child. And that's the reason why he changed his name into Conan Edogawa. His goal was to chase the organization and make his body back into a 17 year old.

Shinichi forces to take some strange poison
When I am watching it, I always sing the opening song and the ending song like crazy even though I can't understand what am I was saying. My sense of sight works when I have to look or to find the evidences there. Because I also guess who is the culprit there. My skin was slightly cold when I am scared to the face of the murderer. And also my common sense is working when I start to analyze some deductions about the case. When I'm watching it, I feel very excited and happy when I'm watching it. Sometimes, I feel sad when I hear why did the murderer killed the victim. I always think how would the story ends and how did Conan tell to the other people there especially Ran Mouri (his childhood friend and his love interest) that he is Shinichi Kudo.

When I'm watching it this reminds of my friends. Because like me, they also like to watch it. Sometimes, when we are talking... this topic is always involved and never been absent. Others are feeling annoyed to us. But, we don't care.

Maybe, others see it as a Mystery Anime or just an ordinary japanese cartoon. But for me, discovering it is one of my best achievements or goals in my life. Watching it is one of
my daily routine or hobby but it was fun doing it.

Well, to make the long story short. My life is very boring and lonely without Anime especially Detective Conan. I am so inspired to be a great detective someday. But, my mother always stops me 'bout that. Maybe I can be a Mangaka (Manga artist), I just have to improve my skills in drawing. Or maybe a Seiyuu (Dubber in Anime or a voice actor/actress) I just have to study more Japanese words. But now, I just wanted to watch Detective Conan. Because I believe that,

"Zero is where everything starts!
Nothing would ever be born if we didn't depart from there."
